The Serie A heavyweights Inter Milan have been linked with a move for the 17-year-old Flamengo sensation Lincoln Correa dos Santos.
The promising youngster notched up nine goals in 18 games for Brazil’s Under-17 squad and also caused quite a few ripples going through the ranks at Flamengo.
Lincoln seems to have caught the attention of Nerazzurri who are keen to make a deal with Flamengo that would involve their flop striker Gabriel Barbosa.
The forward commonly referred to as Gabigol joined Inter Milan in a €33.5 million deal in the summer of 2016 but never quite managed to prove his worth in Italy – or in Europe for that matter.
Fox Sports Brazil states that Inter Milan are now planning to use Gabigol as a bargaining chip and offer him as a direct replacement for Lucas Paqueta who is moving to AC Milan in January.
In return, Inter Milan would take up Lincoln, who is being tipped for stardom in the future.
