Liverpool fans were warned Friday that they should be very worried after auditors warned that the club s parent company is in danger of being forced out of business by unsustainable debt.

The Reds American owners, Tom Hicks and George Gillett, face a July 24 deadline to refinance 350 million pounds of debt which they have been servicing at punitive rates of interest, according to company accounts published this week.

The accounts revealed that the club s parent company, Kop Football (holdings) Ltd., made losses of 42.6 million pounds in the year to July 2008, largely due to 36.5 million of interest payments on the debt incurred by Hicks and Gillett to fund their February 2007 acquisition of the club.

(GSM) French football authorities are considering a new management structure to support national team boss Raymond Domenech.

The under-fire coach oversaw a stuttering World Cup qualifying campaign, in which France booked their place in next summer s finals via a controversial play-off win over Republic of Ireland.

The France Football Federation (FFF) confirmed last week there would be no change of coach but Domenech, who took charge in 2004, may now be given a helping hand as he attempts to revive the nation s pride in Les Bleus.

France have been far from convincing since reaching the 2006 World Cup final, finishing bottom of their group at Euro 2008, and Domenech has been criticised for not getting the best out of his players.

West Ham United goalkeeper Adrian has penned a new two year contract with the club, .

The Spaniard has committed himself to the East London club until 2017, with the option for that to be extended by a further two years.

Adrian moved to Upton Park from Real Betis in the summer of 2013, and has since racked up seventy-six appearances in all competitions.

As well as playing twenty-six times for Betis’ first team, the 28 year old has had loan spells with Alcala and Utrera while his only international appearance came for the non-FIFA affiliated Andalusia.

Italy international Marco Parolo has agreed a contract extension that will keep him at Lazio until 2020, the Serie A club have confirmed.

Parolo, who signed for Lazio in 2014 and previously played for clubs including Cesena and Parma, will be 35 when his new deal expires.

The midfielder, linked with a switch to Chelsea in the last transfer window, has started all eight league games for Lazio this season, with the club sixth in Serie A.

Real Betis claim a computer problem has scuppered their bid to sign Pablo Fornals from West Ham.

Spanish midfielder Fornals had agreed a £7million switch to the LaLiga club on deadline day, but the deal failed to go through.

The development came hours after French side Lyon accused West Ham of a “lack of respect” and “incomprehensible behaviour” after the 11th-hour collapse of their move for Hammers winger Said Benrahma.
